Nice Surprise

This morning, returned from quick trip into town and saw the bird book out on the kitchen table. What have you seen was the question. The book was open at Mistle Thrush and sure enough there it appeared.
First one is thro' through the double glazing.

This one is not

What a corker of a bird!

A really handsome bird... we used to get them on our holly, until the tree was blown down .... in late November the berries used to ripen but the mistle thrushes always had them all before we could cut any for Christmas decorations. The used to defend 'their' tree against allcomers.

Thanks Linda, am trying to get the hang of it.
As you say Phil, this one is already chasing the four or five Blackbirds which were resident.
