about same size as Willow Warbler and its call was a quiet 'tsst,tsst' every 5-10 seconds.
Photo taken around 7.30pm, raining and dark - at least thats my excuse.
I realise its not much to go on but ......

Ident help please
Caught site of two of these, in Gosforth Park last night and am unable to identify.
about same size as Willow Warbler and its call was a quiet 'tsst,tsst' every 5-10 seconds.
Photo taken around 7.30pm, raining and dark - at least thats my excuse.
I realise its not much to go on but ......
any ideas?

Was the "tsst, tsst" not a disstress call? If so could it not perhaps be a Chiffchaff.
