Cresswell

Following a few tweets reporting Little Auks heading north this morning, I ventured up to Cresswell this afternoon and was lucky to get straight onto some. Driving up towards Druridge Pools I was pleased to see Yellowhammers in the fields.
Goldcrest seem to be abundant at the moment

and this Bullfinch was a bonus

Now and again, particularly in summer months when I like to get to Causey Arch looking for Purple Hairstreak butterflies and Spotted Flycatcher.
