Newcastle Great Park

A walk around the main pond at the south end of Newcastle Great Park produced five male and two female Emperor Dragonfly.

another place I have never been to must get there one day when the sun is out (obviously not this weekend). Great pics especially the head on shot

The head on was the only half usable flying shot, the males just never appear to stop.
